Area Sales Manager

Our client is one of the World leaders in the design, manufacturing and sales of Fixed Gas Detection equipment. Our client is looking for an Area Sales Manager for CIS Countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan..)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Responsible to grow our business in CIS countries
•    Manage distributor/customer relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
•    Define, implement and communicate the winning strategy for this region
•    Manage a distribution network (add or cancel distributors when required)
•    Conduct group sales presentations and seminars
•    Able to prospect target accounts for new businesses
•    Spend about 75% of his time in sales and marketing activities (visiting distributors and customers, leads generation, issue quotations, work on tenders, etc…)
•    Daily use of our CRM, ERP and other IT tools (in order to provide customer information, forecasts and reports to management)
•    Able to manage his expense budget
•    High autonomy capability is mandatory

Desired Skills, Education  & Qualifications:

•    Must be able to demonstrate sales record (3+ years) at a high level of achievement
•    Engineer and/or Business School qualification. Export expertise required.
•    Strong multicultural awareness and sensitivity
•    Fluent in Russian and English (French knowledge is a plus)
•    Objective driven, determination to win
•    Dynamic, enthusiastic, problem solver
•    Team worker

This position reports to the Sales Director, based in France.
