Legal and Compliance Officer (logistic company).
We are ATSAL, an HR Consulting & Recruitment Agency operating in Russia, CIS and Europe.
Our client is a logistics company existing since 2011 and specializing in sea transportation, railway transportation and sea-railway combined transportation between China and Russia. With over 10 years of experience in China-Russia transportation.
Our client is looking for a Legal and Compliance Officer.
Missions
- Improve the relevant procedures for contract formation, performance, and dispute resolution, including evaluating the risks associated with the qualification, terms, guarantees, performance, and contract remedies of the contract subject, and proposing preventive measures;
- Collect common contract types for companies and enterprises, and develop contract templates for common types;
- Establish a system for contract review, reporting, and evaluation, improve and fill in contract defects and loopholes, and strengthen the unified storage and filing system for contracts;
- Establish a contract performance supervision system, strengthen the collection, storage and management of contract related documents, invoices, and other evidence;
- Evaluate the legal risks of the contract, assist in the approval and signing of the written contract;
- Assist relevant departments in conducting legal evaluations of enterprise bidding and tendering activities, and provide legal opinions on relevant projects
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in law, preferably in maritime law, fluent in English and Russian, or in Chinese and Russian;
- Obtaining a legal professional qualification certificate or a lawyer qualification certificate is preferred;
- Priority given to those with experience in legal work in Russian funded enterprises;
- Experience in legal work in internet and e-commerce enterprises is preferred;
- Have a positive work attitude, patience and sense of responsibility, and strong ability to analyze, handle, and solve legal issues.
