Junior Associate (Tax/Corporate Law)

Our client is seeking a talented lawyer with relevant experience working for a law firm, a Big Four firm, or a family office.

Responsibilities:
Conducting research and preparing consultations on various legal issues (corporate law, tax law, commercial law, immigration law, compliance, antitrust law, labor law, personal data law, etc.)
Assisting the senior tax attorney in preparing tax returns, controlled foreign company (CFC) notifications, conducting research, and providing consultations on taxation and currency control issues.
Preparing corporate, commercial, and other documents.
Organizing and conducting registration procedures (company incorporation and liquidation, registering changes in CEOs, addresses, etc., visiting notaries, government agencies, banks, etc.).
Supporting the client’s day-to-day operations (interacting with accountants, subcontractors, etc.).
Candidate
A law degree from a nationally accredited law school (Moscow State University, MGIMO, National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, etc.)
2 or more years of relevant experience in a law firm, Big Four firm, or family office
A native Russian speaker with fluent English (oral and written); knowledge of French will be considered an advantage.
Good knowledge of Russian corporate, commercial and property law; experience in litigation will be considered an advantage
